- Animation Competition Intima Atmajaya
An unique competition, because this competition is beeing held by Atmajaya Student's
from medical faculty, public helath is the theme of this competition and some of the
student's from Digital Studio College is participating in this competition.
The judges for this competition is coming from designer, animator and a doctor to judges
from the public health education to the society. The winner of this competition is Ardhie Benyamin student's from digital animation at Digital Studio College with the project titled “TV efects for children's”.
This competition is also pick one winner based on audience respons through polling, and
the winner are Noorman and Wahyudi that also come from Digital Studio College student's.
- Indonesian Animation Festival (Desember 2007)
Festival that formed by Goethe Institute Gemany, Samali Academy, and Boemboe. In this
event
3 student's from Digital Studio College is nominated as finalis and earned rewards
for following animation workshop and their portfolio screened at TIM 21 Movie theater.
- Filmmalogic & Fotologic Universitas Indonesia
This is the second festival that beeing held by Badan Film Mahasiswa (BFM) medical faculty University of Indonesia. This festival can also brought a lot of filmmaker such as Nia Dinata (Director of Berbagi Suami, Arisan, etc), Nicholas Saputra (Actor of Janji Joni, Ada Apa dengan Cinta, etc) as the judges for the competition.
Hope is one of the movie from digital filmmaking student's is the winner of this competition. Hope is a touching movie that combined music harmony and picture, the judges also
comment that Hope is original, great structural movie and good execution.
Komunitas 2 Siang is a movie community that held this competition, Budi Luhur University
is the place where the competition is being held. The participants of this competition is
coming from University students.
2 Move 2 Serious is the theme for this competition. Nitro (Ninja Katro) is one of the movie
from students of Digital Studio College from Digital Filmmaking Major got the first winner
of this competition. The comedy genre of Nitro made all the audience cannot stop laughing seeing this movie.
- Jiffest Script Development Competition
Jiffest (Jakarta International Film Festival) is the biggest movie festival in Indonesia, there
are many events in Jiffest such as movie screening, workshop, and Jiffest Script Development Competition to get the new talaent in film indutry in Indonesia. This big opportunity is being
used by Digital Filmmaking students to join this competition.
In 2006 and 2007 the Digital Filmmaking students got the nominee through : Eri Ariyadi
with
the script “C+ or Die” and Bardo Baskoro with “Twitch”
